2007 (early July): mended with nitrocellulose UHU Hart (Panagiota Sphyri).
Conservation
2012 (May 25-28): old adhesive removed from breaks; chemical cleaning with 10% solution of hydrochloric acid in water; surface mechanically cleaned with cotton swab and scalpel; surface stabilized with acrylic resin Paraloid B-72 in 2.5% acetone solution; mended with acrylic adhesive HTH B72 (Argiro Tsigri).
Description
High, false ring foot, tapering on interior, with low, rounded, exterior bevel. Possibly large Loeschcke Form 19.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 10R 7/6, light red. Slip: 10R 4/8, red. Fabric finer and lighter than usual Çandarlı; thin slip and splotchy (fingerprints?) around foot.
Preservation description
Two joining fragments preserve 50% of base and small part of lower body. Moderate chipping.
