Description
Round bottom. Flaring wall with sharp turn from shoulder to rim. Flaring to horizontal rim with squared, slightly tapered lip; flange for lid seating on inner edge. Lug handle with faint finger impressions on top, triangular in section, applied to exterior and underside of lip.
Fabric, firing, surface
7.5YR 6/4, brown. Hard, medium coarse fabric with common mica and few, small, acicular, white inclusions. Imported.
Preservation description
One large fragment preserves <25% of base, body, and rim and most of one handle, including full profile. Slight erosion and pitting; slight, extensive encrustation. Secondary scorching.
