Typical fabric, firing, and surface for Roman Corinthian lamps: fine, hard, reddish yellow core fired very slightly more pale at surface.
Preservation comment
Two nonjoining sherds preserve ca. 30% of discus and parts of left and right shoulder. Slight, sparse abrasion and rare surface flaking with chips around edge; worn breaks; thin, widespread film of encrustation especially on right shoulder.
