Description
Amphora. Low rounded(?) shoulder. Dipinto of at least one large letter at joint between upper shoulder and lower neck: Β
Fabric, firing, surface
Pale pink core and interior, buff exterior surface (1-2mm); consistently fired. Very fine, medium soft; smooth break. Rare, well sorted, tiny, white and black bits; frequently small golden(?) mica flakes. Finely smoothed exterior.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves very small part of shoulder with dipinto. Moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion with minor chipping; worn breaks.
