Description
Amphora. Low rounded(?) shoulder. Red dipinto with one letter at joint between upper shoulder and lower neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale pink core and interior, buff exterior surface (1-2mm); consistently fired. Very fine, medium soft; smooth break. Rare, well sorted, tiny, white and black bits; frequently small golden(?) mica flakes. Finely smoothed exterior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves very small part of shoulder with dipinto. Moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion with minor chipping; worn breaks.
