Kenchreai IV RC22e Amphora [permalink] [show more links]
Comment (rdfs)
In Kenchreai IV, catalog entry RC 22 is mixed and takes in a variety of sherds with dipinti. As a typological identification, “RC 22e” refers to the hard-fired, white slipped form illustrated on plate 29 of Kenchreai IV. See Slane and Sanders (2005) “Late Roman Horizons” no. 2-17.
