Amphora. Rounded shoulder. Cylindrical neck, bulging slightly near rim. Loop handle, round to oval in sections, attaches at middle neck and shoulder. Rolled rim; pointed lip with concave inner face. Red dipinto in large letters on upper shoulder, alongside handle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pinkish orange core, slightly more red toward surface (2 mm) and interior; consistently fired. Medium fine, somewhat hard; smooth break. Numerous tiny, well sorted, mixed bits, including red, black, gray, rarely white, and small flakes golden mica. Cf. Ke0679-P0185.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve roughly one half of upper amphora, including shoulder, handle, neck, and ca. 30% of rim. Surface in good condition but breaks slightly worn.
