Cylindrical neck with convex walls tapering abruptly to rim. Plain, round rim, outwardly thickened to slightly hooked. Strap handle attaches at upper neck in twist.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish yellow core fired to more pale, vaguely pink surfaces 2 mm). Fine to very fine, hard; smooth to slightly hackly or conchoidal(?) break; rare to uncommon, poorly sorted, tiny to small but rarely small to medium, subangular lime bits; tiny to small, red or brown, gray, and black bits; frequent specks and rarely small flakes of golden mica visible at surface. Thin, pale wash over exterior. Wet smoothed.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves 20% of rim, upper neck, and roughly upper one-quarter of handle. Moderate to severe, extensive abrasion and pitting; worn breaks; thin film of encrustation on all surfaces.
