Description
Amphora. Rounded shoulder. Cylindrical neck, bulging slightly(?). Red dipinto in three lines, first one very small and second two in large characters, from lower neck to upper shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very pale pink to pale buff, very thin wash more pale. Fine, hard; smooth break. Rare, small, subrounded white and very rare, subrounded black inclusions; very rare voids; rare lime chunks exploding at surface; rare golden micaceous flakes at surface. Kenchreai RC22?
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve part of lower neck and adjacent shoulder. Slight, sparse abrasion with rare chipping; worn breaks; scattered, thin patches of encrustation.
