Amphora. Rounded upper shoulder. Red dipinto in large cursive letters, in two areas, across upper shoulder up to turn to neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Light brown with a tinge of red; consistently fired. Medium fine, hard; granular break and slightly gritty texture. Uncommon to common, well sorted, very small, black, gray, and white inclusions; one or two small, tabular, dark gray particles; no mica visible. Variety of LRA1? Sparse wet smoothing and small blobs of excess clay on exterior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of upper body or shoulder. Slight, infrequent abrasion and scratching and chipping around edges; worn breaks; thin film of encrustation on part of outside surface.
