- Description
- Amphora. Low rounded shoulder. Cylindrical neck, bulging slightly upward. Red dipinto in two lines(?) across upper shoulder to lower neck.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Pink with a tinge of orange in core and interior, buff exterior; consistently fired. Very fine, slightly soft; smooth break. Rare, well sorted, tiny to very small, black and dark gray, less frequently white bits, and very rare, somewhat larger, angular gray and black particles; frequent tiny micaceous flakes (silver?). Carefully smoothed surface.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves small part of shoulder and lower neck. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion with shallow scoring and rare gouging; worn breaks.
