Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale orange, fired more pale at very surface; soft, gritty fabric; laminar break and flakey at surface; well sorted, small, mostly rounded, sandy inclusions: white (calcareous), red, black; dense silvery micaceous. Imitative production in southwest Asia Minor mainland. e.g. Ephesus and surroundings.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves entire toe. Extensive, slight to moderate abrasion with extensive, severe chipping; worn breaks; no significant encrustation.
