Description
Amphora. Rounded shoulder. Red dipinto in large letters across upper shoulder: ΞΛΖ>
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Light brown fabric, consistently fired. Fine, hard; smooth break. Rare, very small, rounded, white (lime?) inclusions; rare, small, elongated voids; faintly micaceous across surface. Smooth surface with traces of wet smoothing.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 20% of upper shoulder. Slight, sparse abrasion and rare pitting; slightly worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
