Description
Low sloping shoulder. Red dipinto on shoulder, three separate words in two or three(?) lines.
Fabric, firing, surface
Pale pink core; pale, thin wash; consistently fired. Sandy or pimply, roughened texture on interior surface; hard; granular break. Numerous, well sorted, very small, white, gray, dark red, rarely black bits; very rare, medium, angular, cream-clear (quartizitic?) chunks. Eastern Cilician.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of shoulder with dipinto. Slight, sparse abrasion and minor chipping around edges; worn breaks.
