1960s: rejoined with natural shellac and infilled with white plaster painted pale yellowish brown.
Preservation description
19 joining sherds preserves most of amphora but irregular tear through lowermost wall at base. Slight to moderate, sparse abrasion and erosion, including severe destruction in patch near base, with scattered scoring and gouging; worn(?) breaks; wide, faint patches of pale gray discoloration. Weathering consistent with long marine submersion.
