Description
Vertical strap handle, shallow and broad grooves on outside face.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish orange, fired slightly more pale at surface; hard, fine, with smooth to vaguely granular fabric; common, tiny to small, poorly sorted, white (calcaroues, few medium), red, and rarely dark gray; flecks of silver mica. Southwestern Asia Minor.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves segment from middle(?) of handle. Moderate, frequent abrasion and flaking and chipping around edges; worn breaks; sparse, thin film and spicules of encrustation.
