- Description
- Rim everted with concave inner face forming ledge for lid and rounded outer edge; distinct tooling (slightly undercut) where rim articulates with upper wall. Globular(?) body.
- Fabric, firing, surface
- Granular fabric is brownish-red with frequent small to medium light subangular inclusions and other tiny bits. Interior and exterior surface is brownish-red consistent with fabric with patchy grey on outside of rim.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves roughly one quarter of rim and upper body. Slight to moderate, sparse abrasion and chipping around edges; slight erosion of fabric; thick, extensive film of encrustation.
