Pale brown with a tinge of red, fired slightly more gray at core in thickened wall. Hard, coarse; vaguely hackly break. Uncommon, small, irregular, white to yellow inclusions or very rare, lareg, subrounded, white-yellow chunks; faint micaceous sparkles; rare to uncommon, tiny, elongated and irregular, brown to black bits (organic) and elongated voids (vegetal matter burned out); rare, small, subangular, gray splinters spalling. Nile delta. Drips and smears of piutche(?) around lip from use.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 20% of rim down to articulation with shoulder. Slight, sparse abrasion and scraping around edges; somewhat worn breaks; scattered spicules of encrustation.
