Description
Jug or bowl. Rounded lower body. Low, thin ring foot, widely splayed. Convex bottom.
Fabric, firing, surface
Red with a tinge of brown, fired more brown at surface. Hard, slightly coarse; somewhat splintery break but smooth surface. Common, well sorted, tiny light and black bits. Regional cooking fabric but somewhat refined?
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 25% of base and lower wall. Slight, sparse abrasion; somewhat worn breaks; faint, sparse film of encrustation.
