Description
Cylindrical jug. Plain, flat base. Straight walls flare gently outward. Light turning ridges on interior; light string marks on underside of base.
Fabric, firing, surface
Reddish brown, fired to grayish brown on very surface on outside. Hard, slightly coarse; splintery break; uncommon, well sorted, tiny white inclusions and rarer red to brown bits.; a few larger lime chunks exploding at surface. String-cut base; turning marks on exterior. NePcf.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserve intact base and large part of lower to middle wall. Slight, extensive abrasion, erosion, and chipping around breaks; somewhat thick, extensive film of encrustation.
