Pale yellow, consistently fired; hard, slightly coarse, with smooth break; uncommon to common, small, subangular(?), mostly red to dark gray bits, and very rare powdery orange chunks (grog?).
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 28% of rim and small part of upper neck. Moderate, extensive abrasion, pitting, and gouging; worn breaks; extensive, discontinuous, thin to thick patches of encrustation.
