This number was previously assigned to a generic sherd from container 84, which we de-accessioned. This LRA5 rim sherd was previously identified as KTH2012, a number that was mistakenly assigned to two vessels from the same container, the other being a Late Roman Ephesian jug. This sherd was therefore re-assigned as KTH2491.
One sherd preserves ca. 15% of rim and neck down to uppermost shoulder. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and minor chipping; worn breaks; thin, extensive patches of encrustation.
