Description
Late Roman amphora produced across Tunisia and chiefly distrubuted across western Mediterranean. Narrow, cylindrical body with tall, solid spike and distinct, tall-sloping shoulder; tall cylindrical neck with flaring, collar rim; tall, vertical, loop handles with oval section. Typical Tunisian fabric: hard, granular, reddish or orange, with saline wash.
