Description
Subtype distinguised by a relative short neck with a heavy, thickened stepped rim and loop handles attached at or below the shoulder. Made in southeastern Tunisia to western Libya during the 2nd to early 3rd century, though some examples from north Africa date somewhat earlier and well into the 4th century.
