Bright to creamy white, fine, calcite marble with visible crystalline structure. Pentelic.

Description
Middle to lower portions of framing members of revetment with molding. Face has four narrow decorative elements in sequence (from outside): band (W. 0.023; D. 0.002), ovolo (W. 0.017; D. 0.001), cavetto (W. 0.027; D. 0.002), cyma recta (W. 0.014; D. 0.001). Carving is very fine and sharp. Thin, linear traces of mortar on front and back mark attachment to wall and perhaps other segments of molding.
Preservation description
Two nonjoining segments of same molding preserve all surfaces but broken across widthwise ends. Slight, sparse chipping.
