Description
Almond-shaped body. Circular, concave, plain discus with raised rim has filling hole above center with wide rim. Sloping shoulder has herringbone in low relief and raised double circles on either side of handle. Rounded nozzle framed by double angled grooves. Thick, pierced handle has two grooves.
Fabric, firing, surface
2.5YR 7/6, light red. Hard, smooth, medium-fine fabric. Unglazed.
Preservation comment
Two joining fragments preserve entire handle, ca. 75% of shoulder, and 25% of discus. Slight to moderate abrasion; sparse encrustation.
