Description
Circular(?), concave discus has central filling hole, rosette with numerous straight, narrow, indented petals, and slightly raised rim. Sloping, plain shoulder with beveled rim has one double circle on to each side of handle. Narrow, pierced handle has two grooves and twists slightly at the suture; lower handle narrows to articulation with base and has flanking grooves and ears.

Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 2.5YR 6/4, light reddish brown. Slip: 10R 6/6, light red. Somewhat thick, even, slightly lustrous slip.
Preservation comment
Two joining fragments preserve entire handle and very small part of discus, shoulder, and base. Traces of encrustation.
