Circular, concave discus has figural relief, filling hole right, slit for airhole at bottom, and prominent framing ring. Relief depicts Poseidon standing left with right leg raised on a ship’s prow, right arm resting on knee and holding small dolphin, and left hand holding up trident; drapery hangs in folds from left arm and right thigh. Figure fits tightly inside discus rim. Design shows detail especially in torso anatomy, but some areas are blurry and retouching is evident in face, hair, and drapery. Broad, sloping to somewhat rounded shoulder has medium to large ovules and raised panels. Neither panels nor nozzle impinge on framing ring.
