Flat base has two deep, almond-shaped grooves around incuse signature: ΕΥ|ΚΑΡ|ΠΟΥ (crisp, small serifs; final upsilon overruns inner groove).

Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware. 7.5YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Hard, fine fabric with smooth break. Unglazed.

One fragment preserves ca. 66% of base with signature. Slight, sparse abrasion and pitting; worn breaks; traces of encrustation.
