Description
Tear-shaped outline. Circular(?), concave discus has rosette with concave, squared petals, one of which extends over the rim onto base of handle. Sloping shoulder has wavy lines in high relief. Narrow, low, partly pierced handle with crosshatched panel on top.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 2.5YR 7/8, light red. Slip: 2.5YR 5/6, red. Thin, uneven, dull slip preserved in patches on handle and in grooves.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves small parts of discus and shoulder and the top of the handle. Slight, extensive encrustation.
