Description
Circular, slightly concave to flat discus with double framing rings. Sloping to rounded shoulder has tight transverse grooves that diverge at base of nozzle to create triangular space, in which are three small raised dots off-axis. This type has plain discus and long, rounded nozzle without channel and with rim around wickhole.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
2.5YR 7/6, light red. Hard, fine, micaceous fabric with common, small to me-dium, subrounded to angular, white (calcareous) and frequent, very small, rounded to subrounded, red inclusions. Unglazed. Ephesian?
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves one-third of shoulder and small part of discus. Sparse abrasion; slight encrustation.
