Description
Circular, slightly concave, plain(?) discus with airhole at bottom has raised rim and framing ring. Narrow, rounded shoulder has large ovules. Long, rounded nozzle has narrow oval rim around wickhole; traces of burning.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Slip: 10R 5/6, red, to 10R 4/3, weak red. Hard, medium fine clay with frequent, small, subrounded, white inclusions. Thin, dull slip, flaky, varies in color with splotchiness; cf. KL165 and KL169. Western Asia Minor.
Preservation comment
Two large joining fragments preserve entire nozzle and small parts of shoulder and discus. Slight abrasion.
