Description
Circular, concave, plain discus has small airhole to lower right and framing ring. Plain, mostly flat, uneven shoulder with beveled edge has three small circles above nozzle. Short, rounded nozzle set off from shoulder by horizontal groove; traces of burning. Flat, circular base has raised ring around incuse planta pedis pointing to handle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 10R 6/6, light red. Slip: 10R 6/8, light red. Fabric, firing, and surface typical for ware.
Preservation comment
Two large joining fragments preserve small part of discus, 75% of shoulder, entire nozzle, and 50% of base. Slight, extensive encrustation.
