Description
Oval, concave, plain(?) discus has framing ring. Sloping, uneven shoulder has single row of circles (13 per side?). Short, rounded nozzle with narrow heart-shaped rim. Narrow, pierced vertical handle has two grooves above. Raised, circular base.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 5YR 5/6, yellowish red. Slip: 10R 6/8, light red. Material typical for ware.
Preservation description
Seven joining fragments preserve small part of discus and shoulder, entire handle, and ca. 65% of base. Slight, extensive abrasion with minute pitting; worn breaks; traces of encrustation around handle.
