Description
Base has wide, raised ring, like a pedestal, around smaller raised ring and in middle uncertain design in relief: three radiating lines from star?
Fabric, firing, surface
5YR 6/6, reddish yellow with a tinge of pink. Hard, fine, faintly golden micaceous fabric with rare, small, angular, white (calcareous?) and very small, rounded to subrounded, red inclusions. Ephesian?
Preservation description
One small fragment preserves 33% of base. Slight, extensive abrasion with minor pitting; worn breaks; tiny traces of encrustation.
