Description
Tear-shaped outline. Flat base has single almond-shaped groove around incuse design of inverted palm branch. Three double circles added during retouching around the groove and one over middle of palm branch.
Fabric, firing, surface
Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware. 2.5YR 6/8, light red. Hard, medium fine fabric with smooth break and texture. Unglazed.
Preservation description
One large fragment preserves 75% of base and >50% of wall. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; thin, sparse encrustation.
