Description
Tear-shaped body. Circular, concave discus has rosette with 16(?) curving petals, small holes to left and upper right, and wide framing ring. Sloping shoulder has herringbone in low relief. Thick, pierced handle has two grooves above; top and bottom are misaligned at seam.

Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 2.5YR 6/6, light red. Slip: 2.5YR 6/4, light reddish brown. Slight, even, dull slip as wash preserved in patches.
Preservation comment
Two joining fragments preserve 33% of discus, <25% of shoulder, and upper handle. Heavy encrustation.
