Circular, slightly concave discus has detailed relief of krater or carchesium with two vines and clusters running down sides, and two flat framing rings. Narrow, plain, rounded shoulder. Volute nozzle. No handle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 10R 7/6, light red. Slip: 10R 5/8, red. Porous, slightly gritty fabric with frequent, small to large, subrounded to angular, black and white inclusions and faint micaceous flecks. Thin, even, semilustrous slip preserved across much of surface. Knidian.
Preservation comment
Three nonjoining fragments (a–c) preserve ca. 33% of discus and shoulder with base of left volute. Slight abrasion; slight to moderate encrustation.
