Description
Almond-shaped outline. Shallow, tear-shaped discus has filling hole right, row of single raised circles, raised rim with retouched(?) outline, and short, narrow channel to wickhole. Steeply sloping shoulder has irregular herringbone in low relief that extends up to wickhole without termination. Rounded(?) nozzle; traces of burning.
Fabric, firing, surface
5YR 6/6, reddish yellow to slightly browner surface. Hard, dense, medium fine fabric with granular break; frequent, very small, rounded to subrounded, white inclusions and darker bits; very rare, spherical voids. Unglazed. Attic.
Preservation description
One large fragment preserves 33% of shoulder and small part of discus. Sparse, slight abrasion with rare pitting and flaking; slightly worn breaks; faint, inconsistent film of encrustation.
