Description
Tear-shaped(?) outline. Circular to oval, concave discus with raised rim has relief of cross monogram with rho open(?) right, thick, flaring arms that are crosshatched, and double circle at intersection of arms; holes in quadrants. Sloping shoulder has wavy lines.
Fabric, firing, surface
2.5YR 6/6, light red. Somewhat soft, medium-fine fabric. Unglazed.
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves 66% of discus and small part of shoulder. Slight pitting and abrasion; slight encrustation.
