Description
Circular stopper made by cutting down a sherd.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
2.5YR 6/6, light red. Soft, gritty to somewhat coarse fabric with rare dark mica (biotite?) and common, small, tabular and angular, white and black inclusions and rare, large, subrounded, reddish brown particles, apparently sand.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves ca. 50% of object. Slight chipping around edge, slight pitting, and abrasion; very slight, sparse encrustation.
