Description
Circular stopper made by cutting down a sherd.
Fabric, firing, surface
2.5YR 6/6, light red. Soft, gritty to somewhat coarse fabric with rare dark, silvery mica and common, small, tabular and angular, white and black inclusions and rare, large, subrounded, reddish brown particles, apparently sand.
Preservation description
One fragment preserves ca. 50% of object. Slight chipping around edge, slight pitting, and abrasion; worn breaks; very slight, sparse patches of encrustation.
