Description
Plate with vertical rim. Slightly offset rim with tapered, slightly outturned lip; single groove just below lip on interior. Two narrow, rouletted grooves on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5YR 6/6, light red. Slip: 10R 5/8, red. Material typical for ware: ESB2.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves <25% of rim. Slight abrasion; slight, very sparse encrustation.
