Description
Casserole. Rounded bottom with fine grooves on outside; pronounced flange, indented on interior, separates bottom from outward sloping wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 2.5YR 6/6, light red. Slip: 2.5YR 6/8, light red. Material typical for early ware.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves <25% of bottom and lower body. Slight, sparse encrustation.
