Description
Attic glazed ovoid kotyle. Narrow ring foot is glazed; underside has central dot and two concentric circles; glazed interior; exterior has reserved zone with irregular crosshatching on lower body.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric (interior): 5YR 3/4, pink; (exterior): 5YR 4/4, dark reddish gray. Slip: 10YR 2/1, black. Hard, very fine fabric with rare, very small, black inclusions. Thin, even, semilustrous slip, somewhat flaky.
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves small part of ring foot, floor, and lower body. Extensive chipping and slight pitting; very slight, very sparse encrustation.
