Description
Bowl. Shallow ring base. Flaring lower wall; vertical above strong carination. Flaring rim with tapered lip.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5YR 6/6, reddish yellow. Slip: 2.5YR 4/8, red. Typical for ware: ESB2.
Preservation comment
Two nonjoining fragments preserve ca. 50% of base and lower to middle body (a) and <25% of rim (b). Extensive abrasion, chipping, and cracking; very slight, very sparse encrustation.
