Description
Flat base; rough groove just above articulation of base and exterior wall. Slightly concave wall. Outward-thickened knob rim. Short, twisted, tubular handle socket with wide, sharp rim at end.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
2.5YR 6/6, light red. Hard, gritty fabric with common mica and common, poorly sorted, angular to subangular, white inclusions. Imported.
Preservation comment
Five joining fragments preserve >75% of body and entire handle. Slight chipping; slight, sparse encrustation or plaster covers surface and breaks. Secondary scorching on interior and exterior.
