Description
Deep bowl. Tooled false ring foot with very faint central button. Straight, flaring, thin walls rise to strong carination below rim. Inturned rim with tapered lip. Small, horizontal loop handles. Slipped interior; dripped over exterior rim.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 7.5YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Slip: 2.5YR 5/8, red. Hard, fine fabric, smooth breaking; rare, tiny, mixed bits. Thin, even, semilustrous slip, flaky.
Preservation comment
Fourteen large joining fragments preserve nearly entire body and both handles. Slight chipping.
