Description
False ring foot. Globular body with corrugation at midpoint. Tapering cylindrical neck. Flaring cup rim with rounded lip. Spined, sliced, oval handle attaches to articulation of shoulder and body and to neck just below rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
5YR 6/6, reddish brown. Somewhat hard, smooth, gritty fabric with common, small, rounded, white inclusions (lime), rare tiny opaque bits (quartzite?), and rare, small to medium, poorly sorted, subangular, gray particles. Uneven wash slightly more pale than fabric.
Preservation comment
Intact. Slight abrasion and pitting; very slight, sparse encrustation.
