Description
Flat, string-cut base, slightly beveled on exterior. Cylindrical body tapering to well-defined, slightly concave shoulder below midpoint. Narrow, tall, cylindrical neck curves out to offset, flaring rim with flat lip. Oval handle attaches to upper edge of shoulder and rim just below lip; crudely applied, bending to one side.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
5YR 5/8, yellowish red. Somewhat hard, smooth, fine fabric with few to rare mica and common, small, rounded, white (lime) inclusions; frequent small voids at surface.
Preservation comment
Intact. Very slight abrasion and pitting; very slight, sparse encrustation.
