Description
Shallow bowl. Very shallow, concave base. Rim with rounded, tapering lip; one groove on interior below lip and two molded grooves on exterior below lip. Floor set off by two rings.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 2.5YR 6/6, light red. Slip: 10R 5/8, red. Material typical for ware: ESB2.
Preservation comment
Two joining fragments (a) preserve ca. 25% of base including small part of resting surface. Two other joining sherds (b) preserve <25% of rim and part of upper body. Slight abrasion, chipping, and gouging.
